Administrative offices for the town of Portola Valley have moved to a temporary building located in the area between the Historic Schoolhouse and the softball field at 765 Portola Road.

The offices were closed Friday, July 9, and Monday, July 12, to complete the relocation.

The move is one of the first steps in the project to relocate and redesign the complex of buildings and recreation fields at the Town Center. Most of the existing buildings sit within an earthquake rupture zone.

The town has budgeted funds to lease additional temporary buildings to replace the after-school classrooms.
