Woodside fire promotes three
Woodside fire promotes three
(July 21, 2004) The Woodside Fire Protection District celebrated the promotion of three of its employees with a badge pinning ceremony held July 5. Firefighters Jerry Nave and Rob Consani were promoted to the positions of training captains, said Chief Mike Fuge. Denise Enea, the fire prevention/safety officer since 1997, was promoted to the post of fire marshal, he said.
Mr. Nave has worked for the district since 1985, and Mr. Consani joined in 1994, after serving 12 years as a firefighter/paramedic with the South San Francisco fire department. Mr. Consani helped build Woodside fire's paramedic program, Chief Fuge said.
Chief Fuge credited the three for having strong work ethics, dedication to the fire district and active involvement in teaching medical and safety skills to the community. He also noted that all three have family members who served in Peninsula fire departments.
