(August 11, 2004) ** Navy Lt. J.G. Alicia A. Rice , daughter of Suzanne A. Fouche of Woodside and Robert R. Rice of Novato, recently graduated from the advanced steam chief engineer course at Surface Warfare Officer School, Newport, Rhode Island. During this six-week course, she received instruction on steam engineering theory, systems, operations, casualty control and administration programs.
