Caption with Carol Ivie photo in print edition: All the work at Nealon Park, located on Middle Avenue next to the Little House Activity Center in Menlo Park, is expected to lead to better play this fall. The $1.5 million project, funded by the 2001 Measure T recreation-bond measure, will include a renovated ball field and new lighting, reconstruction of the tennis courts, and new picnic tables and benches, according to the city's Web site. Construction began in May, and the project is expected to be finished in November.
