Beth Ross of La Honda takes over September 13 as the new executive director of Hidden Villa in Los Altos Hills. She will be introduced to supporters of Hidden Villa at the annual Duvenek Humanitarian Awards Dinner at the farm on September 18.

Ms. Ross replaces Hidden Villa's past executive director, Judith Steiner, who recently retired after 10 years with the organization.

Beth Ross grew up in northern New York state and moved to California 20 years ago. She joins Hidden Villa after 10 years as founding executive director of Redwood City 2020, an organization providing support and opportunities for local young people.

Her work in Redwood City was an extension of her work in Humboldt County where she began her career in developing school-based student support services.
