Atherton

Burglary reports: Computer stolen, 1000 block of El Camino Real, September 16.

Possible mountain lion incidents: Large paw prints found, Tuscaloosa Avenue, September 10; police -- using a thermal imaging device -- spotted a large animal moving slowly and methodically along the fence line, first block of Melanie Lane, about 2:40 a.m. September 12;
resident's dog chased a large animal away after the animal jumped on and shattered the patio table, 100 block of Glenwood Avenue, about 9:30 p.m. September 15.

Menlo Park

Burglary reports: Roofing supplies and equipment stolen from residential yard, 900 block of O'Brien Drive, September 10; breaking and entering attempt, 600 block of Oak Grove Avenue, September 13.

Grand-theft reports: Golf clubs stolen, 2300 block of Tioga Drive, September 11;
office items missing, 2700 block of Sand Hill Road, September 14;
stereo stolen, 400 block of Ivy Drive, September 15;
gardening equipment stolen, 600 block of Oak Grove Avenue, September 15;
tool box set stolen, 700 block of Coleman Avenue, September 15.

Woodside

Grand-theft reports: Surveillance camera stolen, 700 block of Woodside Road, August 31.

Possible mountain lion incident: Reported sighting, 700 block of Canada Road, September 4.

Portola Valley

Burglary reports: Miscellaneous items stolen, 200 block of Nathhorst Avenue, September 1;
purse stolen, 5000 block of Alpine Road, September 12.

Ladera

Burglary reports: Wine valued at $18,200 stolen from John's Liquors, 3100 block of Alpine Road, September 2.

Grand-theft reports: Wedding ring and diamond necklace stolen, 100 block of Balsamina Way, September 10.
