Menlo Park police have arrested a 15-year-old boy they believe attacked a Henderson Avenue man with a shovel in the victim's back yard in the early on the morning of August 8, said Sgt. Matt Bacon of the Menlo Park Police Department.

Police booked the suspect into Hillcrest juvenile hall on September 16, Sgt. Bacon said.

The victim was seriously injured, but is expected to make a full recovery, he said.
