Business Briefs: 'Retro' shoe, clothing shop opens in Menlo
(October 27, 2004) A new Menlo Park shoe and clothing sport boutique -- named OH -- held a preview launch party Friday, October 22.
The redesigned 800-square-foot store, located at 1060 Evelyn Ave. in downtown Menlo Park, sells retro-style sport shoes and clothing for men and women.
Starting Thursday, October 28, the store will be open for business Tuesday through Sunday each week.
OH is a new project for Adam and Micheline Kemist, who have owned the nearby Runners High sports shoe store on Santa Cruz Avenue since 1995, and a Runners High shop in Los Altos since 1997.
OH takes its name from the Kemists' two daughters: 20-month-old Olivia and 4-month-old Hannah.
"We know there's a big demand for classic sport styles," said Adam Kemist.
Staffing the new store are Runners High employees Jim Gothers and Emily Kelley. Erica Duharte is OH's store manager. The phone number is 32-RETRO (327-3876).
