Chamber music concert features trios, song Chamber music concert features trios, song (October 27, 2004)

Menlo Park pianist Josephine Gandolfi will perform in a chamber music concert featuring music for piano trio and piano and mezzo-soprano on Saturday, October 30, at the Palo Alto Arts Center.

The event begins at 8 p.m. Ms. Gandolfi will be joined by mezzo-soprano Wendy Hillhouse, violinist Susan Brown and cellist Karen Andrie.

The program includes a range of music -- from works by titans Beethoven and Schubert to seldom-heard music by composers such as Joaquin Nin-Culmell and Joaquin Turina.

Concert tickets, available at the door, are $14, general; and $12, students and seniors. The Palo Alto Arts Center is at 1313 Newell Road, at Embarcadero. For more information, call 463-4940.
