Robbery report: Young man robbed of gold chain while walking, Middlefield Road and Oak Grove Avenue, October 16.

Auto-burglary report: Driver's side window smashed and stereo system, cell phone and money stolen, Santa Cruz Avenue and University Drive, October 15. Ransacked vehicle, 400 block Santa Rita Avenue, October 17.

Grand theft report: Construction tools stolen, 1100 block Del Norte Avenue, October 20.

Woodside

Mountain lion report: Mountain lion sighted, 500 block Patrol Road, October 17.

Burglary report: Home break-in but nothing taken, 3100 block Woodside Road, October 17.

Portola Valley

Burglary report: Personal computer stolen from home, 300 block Alamos Road, October 12.
