'You Can't Take It With You' at Menlo School
(November 10, 2004) Drama students at Menlo School will stage "You Can't Take it With You" for three more performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 12-14, at 7:30 p.m. in Florence Moore Auditorium on the Atherton school's campus.
Tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. They may be reserved or picked up at the Menlo School bookstore; or e-mail tickets@menloschool.org
Drama teacher Elizabeth Orr directs the Kauffman and Hart classic that received the Pulitzer Prize. It's the story of an unconventional Bohemian family's daughter falling in love with the son of a conventional, wealthy, socially prominent family in the New York City in the 1930s.
The student cast includes: Nelson Chen, Julie Davidson, Haley Horowitz, Zac Minor, Regan Riskas and Matin Movassate, all of Atherton; Alex Powar, Alexis Meredith, Donnell Tachis and Laura Yost of Menlo Park; Mike Pearson and Lee Holtzman of San Mateo; Lisa Miracchi and Gilad Gray of Los Altos Hills; Aaron Rosekind of Mountain View; Jennifer Mitchell of Woodside; Kevin Greene of Foster City; and Dustin Ruttenberg Redwood City.
