Armed robbery at Willow Road gas station Armed robbery at Willow Road gas station (November 17, 2004)

Menlo Park police are searching for two men armed with semiautomatic pistols who held up the Willow Road Union 76 gas station at around 8 p.m. Sunday, November 14.

The robbers brandished their pistols at the store clerk, and then fled on foot with money taken from the cash register, said Officer Scott Mackdanz. No one was injured in the robbery.

Police arrived on the scene within minutes, and despite an extensive search for the suspects, did not find them, he said.

The suspects are both described as thin black men in their early 20s. They were wearing black jackets, knit caps and had covered their faces with bandannas, Officer Mackdanz said. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the Menlo Park Police Department at 330-6300.
