Nielsen-Rogoway

Susan Anne Nielsen and Michael Morey Rogoway were married September 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church, the same church where the bride's parents and grandparents were married, in Everett, Washington.

A reception followed in the ballroom of the historic Monte Cristo Hotel in downtown Everett. Wedding guests celebrated the next day at Safeco Field in Seattle watching the Seattle Mariners defeat the Boston Red Sox.

The bride is the daughter of Anne Nielsen of Marysville, Washington, and the late Ron Nielsen. She is a graduate of Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, and associate editor and columnist for The Oregonian newspaper.

The bridegroom is the son of Melba and Bill Rogoway of Portola Valley. He is a graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School, Whitman College, and the University of Washington where he earned an MBA. He is a business reporter on The Oregonian newspaper.

Wedding guests included the bridegroom's sisters, Julia and Amy Rogoway and Menlo-Atherton classmates Adrian Jones, Jeremy Gruber, Jeff Sword, John Terborgh and Ron Abta.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the newlyweds are living in Portland, Oregon.
