What do you think of the new black and white cars? A. I believe Menlo Park was the last city (or nearly the last city) in the county to convert to black and whites. We obtained private funding to convert the cars, and the public so far has been either positive or neutral. It's a much younger department than it was four or five years ago. I think this younger crowd of cops enjoys the fresh look.
