Hillview Players present 'Family Album'
(January 19, 2005) Some 45 students at Hillview Middle School will take center stage in "Family Album," a series of short scenes about situations teenagers face, on Friday and Saturday, January, 21, 22, 28 and 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Menlo Park school's multipurpose room.
The Hillview Players, sixth- through eighth-graders, know their parts because the scenes touch on many aspects of real teenagers' lives.
"Some are incredibly funny, some are serious," said director Bob Crabb, drama teacher at Hillview. "The theme centers on stressful situations that we get into in everyday life."
Tickets are $5 for adults and ninth-graders and above; $3 for children, 5 and up; and $2 for Block "H" holders. They are available from cast members at the door before each performance. Tickets also may be reserved by e-mailing bcrabb@mpcsd.org.
