'Footloose' at Crystal Spring 'Footloose' at Crystal Spring (March 09, 2005)

Crystal Springs Uplands School will stage "Footloose " Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 10, 11 and 12, at 8 p. m. in the school's Eric Borel Bovet Auditorium in Hillsborough.

Tickets, at $7 for adults and $5 for students, are on sale in the student center. They also may also be purchased at the door before each performance. Children, 10 and under, should be accompanied by an adult.

The two romantic leads, Ren McCormick and Ariel Moore, the preacher's daughter, are played by Graham Toben of Portola Valley and Laurel Michelson of Atherton. Joining her sister on stage is Kate Michelson as Ren's mother while Caitlin Savage of Menlo Park is Ariel's fast-talking friend.

Antoinette Wrubel directs the student cast in the show that combines rock beat exuberance with an entertaining and touching story. For more information, call 342-4668.
