Bunny Day luncheons at Allied Arts Bunny Day luncheons at Allied Arts (March 16, 2005)

The Palo Alto Auxiliary to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford is once again sponsoring its traditional Bunny Day luncheons on Wednesday through Saturday, March 23-26, the four days before Easter, at Allied Arts restaurant in Menlo Park.

The restaurant was closed for two-and-a-half years while the historic Allied Arts Guild underwent extensive renovation. Sharon Brugos of Menlo Park is luncheon chairman.

There will be two seatings each day, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Children may have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny and each child will receive a small Easter basket and balloon.

Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for children, age 10 and under. The children's menu will include: dip and crackers, macaroni and cheese, celery and carrot sticks, a grape cluster, jelly beans and cookies.

Adults will be served Hungarian dip and crackers, tomato-herbed fish fillet, lemon rice, vegetables and a triple chocolate brownie.

Luncheon reservations must be prepaid. To reserve, call 324-2588. Profits from the luncheons go directly to the Children's Hospital at Stanford.
