What are some of the great or not-so-great excuses people give when stopped for traffic violations? A. I once pulled over a driver for running a stop sign only three blocks from his house. I approached his car and asked for his license. "What seems to be the problem, officer?" "Well, sir, you didn't stop for that stop sign behind you."
