Talented teenaged fiddler Brittany Haas, a resident of Menlo Oaks, will strut her strings at the Little Fox Theatre on Sunday, June 5. She'll play as part of Darol Anger's Republic of Strings, a group that also includes violinist Darol Anger, guitarist Scott Nygaard and cellist Rushad Eggleston.

The group plays both traditional and contemporary string band music from around the world, and has been featured on National Public Radio's "Weekend Edition" program. Brittany and her cellist sister, Natalie, were the subjects of an Almanac cover story in January.

The June 5 show begins at 8 p.m. in the theater at 2209 Broadway in Redwood City. Only those ages 21 and over may attend. For more information, call the box office at 369-4119.
