Caption with picture in print edition: Hard hats are still required on the site of the 12,000-square-foot gymnasium going up on the campus of La Entrada Middle School on Altschul Avenue in Menlo Park. The gym will include a physical education classroom, restrooms and teachers' offices and should be ready in December.
