** Michael Aaronson has joined the U.S. Army and will report for active duty on May 18 to Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. He is the son of Elizabeth and Robert Aaronson of Menlo Park.

** Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Duncan A. French , son of Elaine A. and John K. French of Woodside, recently reported for duty at the Naval Air Station in Kingsville, Texas. A 1998 graduate of Menlo School, he joined the Marine Corps in June 2003 after his graduation from Harvard University.
