'Annie' comes to Hillview stage 'Annie' comes to Hillview stage (June 01, 2005)

"Annie," the popular musical based on the long-running comic strip "Little Orphan Annie, comes alive this week when the Hillview Players present their final play of the year.

The show opens on Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m. in the multi-use room of Hillview Middle School, 1100 Elder Ave. in Menlo Park. Three more performances are set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4; and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 5.

Tickets -- $7 for eighth-graders and up and $4 for younger children -- may be purchased at the multi-use room one-half hour before each performance.

Bob Crabb, Hillview drama teacher, directs Hillview's seventh- and eighth-grade students in the show.
