The Menlo Park City Council has canceled its Tuesday meeting for May 31, the day after Memorial Day.

The council will resume meeting the following Tuesday, June 8, at 7 p.m. It is tentatively scheduled to discuss the results of this spring's design charrette, in which architects came up with new visions for downtown.

Meetings are held in the council chambers at 701 Laurel St. For more information, go to the city's Web site at menlopark.org.
