Ready for the next level of soccer?

Boys and girls ages 8-14 are invited to try out for the Alpine Menlo Soccer Club on Sunday, June 5, at the Corte Madera School field, 4575 Alpine Road in Portola Valley.

Tryout time for the fall 2005 season depends on the age of the player. Check the Web site -- alpinemenlosoccer.com -- or call 851-3247 for specific times. Players are asked to bring soccer cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball, white T-shirt and water bottle.

Affiliated with CYSA, the club primarily serves soccer players living in Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Woodside and Atherton.
