Mountain lion sighting: Large animal
with long tail seen, Sutherland and Ridgeview drives, June 23.
Menlo Park
Burglary reports:
** Storage shed pried open at Noren Products company but nothing taken, 1000 block of O'Brien Drive, June 22.
** Cody James Tripp of Castro Valley arrested and booked into county jail in connection with a burglary report at Anderson Chevrolet in 300 block of El Camino Real, June 22.
Grand-theft reports: Laptop computer and office equipment stolen, Analysis Group Inc. at 1010 El Camino Real, June 20. Leaf blower and hedge trimmer stolen, 1100 block of Hidden Oaks Drive, June 20. Woman's purse grabbed through open window while she was eating lunch in car, Seminary Drive, June 20.
Auto-burglary report: Window smashed and stereo stolen from trunk, 1300 block of Willow Road, June 18. Stereo stolen, 800 block of Coleman Avenue, June 18.
Vicious-animal report: Two domestic dogs attacked lone dog in neighboring yard, causing injuries, 600 block of Harvard Avenue, June 18.
Bicycle-accident report: Man lost balance on bicycle, fell over, injured his head and was taken to hospital, 700 block of Hamilton Avenue, June 18.
Fraud reports: Resident reported unauthorized use of credit card information,
1200 block of Elder Avenue, June 22. Forged check received, 2100 block
of Sand Hill Road, June 23.
Woodside
Collision report: Vehicle pulling onto road from shoulder collided on driver's side with passenger side of vehicle moving in same direction in traffic lane, Woodside and Hobart Heights roads, June 17.
Gunshots report: Cab driver reported hearing two gunshots after dropping off two customers, 100 block of Roberta Drive, June 18.
Burglary report: Jewelry and cash stolen from residence, first block
of Martin Lane, June 20.
Portola Valley area
Collision report: Bicyclist and vehicle collided and cyclist was thrown over handlebars and taken to hospital, Portola Road and Westridge Drive, June 14.
Burglary report: Watch stolen, 100 block of Santa Maria Avenue, June 20.
Fraud reports: Credit card information stolen and used for Internet purchases, first block of Possum Lane, June 14.
Auto-burglary report: Laptop computer stolen from locked trunk, first block of Bear Gulch Road, June 16.

Incident report: Garbage bags containing unshredded credit card and bank statements stolen, 1900 block of Dakin Avenue, June 18.
