Eric Berman, a starting guard for the champion Woodside High School basketball team this past season, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at the University of California at San Diego.

The 6-foot-3 guard started every game for the Wildcats, who won the PAL South Division championship and fell just short of winning a CCS title last season.

He averaged 14.6 points, 9.7 assists, and 3.1 steals a game, while playing solid defense.

Berman lives in Menlo Park and just graduated from Woodside High on June 17.

UC San Diego finished 11-16 last season (7-13 in league games). Report by Max Schneider
