** John L. Sullivan of Atherton received a degree in economics on May 15 from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. He is a graduate of Mid-Peninsula High School in Menlo Park.

** Francesca Fiorentini of Portola Valley received a Founders Day Scholars Award while graduating on May 12 from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study in New York City. The award is given to seniors with an accumulated grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

** Blake Brown of Menlo Park received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
