Are you as enamored with your profession as you were when you started? A. This is a question I am asked frequently. And the answer is: definitely. This career has been a dream come true for me and for nearly every one of my peers. Working the streets, honing my discipline, and learning to communicate with every individual I encounter have been both challenges and pleasures. It's a profession that demands good listening skills. All good cops are great listeners, verbal gourmands.
