On August 1, the Portola Valley town library reopened at its new and temporary location at Corte Madera School, located at 4575 Alpine Road.

Aside from a somewhat smaller book collection and tighter spaces between online computers, everything else about the library is pretty much the same, said a librarian on duty there.

Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, call 851-0560 or go to portolavalleylibrary.org.
