Proprietor Bob Lutticken, right, hosted the event, a celebration for the team winning the Little League Menlo Park city championship. The top Majors division teams from the two local leagues, Alpine-West Menlo and Menlo-Atherton, faced off July Fourth at Burgess Park. Lutticken's, representing the Menlo-Atherton League, edged Hengehold 3-2.
