Animal heard growling and hissing, Melanie Lane, September 2. Burglary report: Small-bore pistol stolen from residence, first block of Catalpa Drive, September 8.

Burglary report: James Flood School broken into and video game stolen, 300 block of Sheridan Drive, September 6. Auto-burglary reports: Stereos stolen, 1500 block of San Antonio Avenue and 400 block of Garwood Way, September 8.
Woodside

Mountain-lion sighting report: Lion seen, Stockbridge Avenue, September 6. Burglary reports: Construction tools stolen, 400 block of Hillside Drive, September 6. Four-wheel all-terrain-vehicle stolen from construction site, 200 block of Eleanor Drive, September 7. Collision report: Vehicle struck bicycle from behind and cyclist fell off bike, 400 block of Kings Mountain Road, September 5. Auto-burglary report: Window smashed and CDs and car manual stolen, park-and-ride lot at Woodside Road and Interstate 280, September 4.
