Paving set for Alpine, Sand Hill roads Paving set for Alpine, Sand Hill roads (September 21, 2005)

Motorists traveling along Alpine Road near the Alpine Road/ Junipero Serra Boulevard intersection should expect one-way traffic controls this week through Thursday, September 22, to accommodate paving. Traffic flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Paving on Sand Hill Road between Santa Cruz Avenue and Oak Avenue is scheduled to occur at night from Monday, September 26, through Thursday, September 29, between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. Only one lane in each direction on Santa Cruz Avenue will be open while paving work is being done, and there will be detours for people taking Sand Hill Road east to Menlo Park and those taking Santa Cruz Avenue south to eastbound Sand Hill Road.

The roadwork is part of Stanford's Sand Hill Road projects, and is due for completion in December. More information is available at SandHillRoadproject.net or by calling 306-0350.
