The four candidates for three seats on the Portola Valley Town council are expected to participate in a candidates forum on Tuesday, October 4, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Historic Schoolhouse at 765 Portola Road.

The public is invited to submit questions at the forum, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of South San Mateo County.

The candidates are newcomers Maryann Moise Derwin and Sally Ann Reiss, and incumbents Ted Driscoll and Richard Merk.
