Global-warming expert speaks on climate change
(November 30, 2005) Benjamin Santer, a climatologist at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, will talk about climate change on Wednesday, December 7, at 7 p.m., at Acterra, 3921 E. Bayshore Road, in Palo Alto.
Mr. Santer, an international expert on global warming and recipient of a MacArthur "genius" grant, is know for his ability to explain the complexities of climate change to lay audiences. He will discuss what is happening in the world, and how people can respond to it.
Tickets at the door are $5 for Acterra members and $10 for the general public.
