Portola Valley painter opens her studio on Sunday
(November 30, 2005) By day, Pamela Priest Naeve is director of community education programs for the Northern California Cancer Center. But whenever she's in a gorgeous setting, or at home in Portola Valley, her paint brushes call to her and she gets busy.
The result is a large collection of oil paintings she has produced on both boards and canvas that is now for sale.
Ms. Naeve paints mostly California landscapes and seascapes, but a recent trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, inspired her, too. So, she will have a combination of works on display at her open studio on Sunday, December 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 32 Berenda Way in Portola Valley.
Her paintings range in size from 5 x 7 inches to 30 x 36; they are priced between $95 and $1,500. They are also on sale at the William Lester Gallery in Point Reyes Station.
