Board to meet on Skyline properties
(December 21, 2005) The governing board of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District will hold a special meeting Tuesday, December 20, to discuss purchase of two key properties in the South Skyline area.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the district's Skyline Field Office at 21150 Skyline Boulevard, just south of Page Mill Road.
The district is proposing to buy for $500,000 the 151-acre Rapley Ranch property adjacent to the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve, and for $600,000 the 50-acre Portola Lookout property adjacent to the Long Ridge Open Space Preserve.
Both properties belong to the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) of Menlo Park. For information, call the district at 692-12000, or go online to openspace.org.
