Atherton

Suspicious circumstances report: Resident received and deposited $3,800 check from Money Camp International Lotto Services but was called by company rep and asked to return money, first block of Tuscaloosa Avenue, December 29.

 

Menlo Park

Burglary reports: ** Cash and jewelry stolen from residence, 1100 block of Hollyburne Avenue, December 23. ** Purse stolen, 1800 block of Oakdell Drive, December 25.

Fraud reports: ** Identity thefts, 100 block of Forest Lane and 900 block of Oak Lane, December 27 and 28. ** Bad check passed, 300 block of El Camino Real, December 27.

 

Woodside

Suspicious circumstances report: Sheriff's bomb squad discovered homemade car radio after being called to investigate unattended vehicle with wires leading to cigarette lighter, 3000 block of Woodside Road, December 22.

 

Portola Valley

Auto burglary report: Vehicle registration and proof of insurance stolen from glove box, 100 block of Sausal Drive, December 21.

Theft report: Tennis equipment stolen from unlocked vehicle, first block of Hillbrook Drive, December 21.

 

West Menlo Park

Theft report: Four cartons of cigarettes stolen from residence, 2000 block of Sand Hill Road, December 27.
Ladera

Theft reports: ** Glove box broken and $3 stolen from unlocked vehicle, 100 bock of Andeta Way, December 22. ** Surveillance camera stolen from under eaves of auto repair shop, 100 block of La Mesa Drive, December 23. ** Surveillance camera stolen from outside mounting at grocery store, 3000 block of Alpine Road, December 23.
