Menlo Park library commissioners will be available to answer questions and listen to comments from the community from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 14, in the Menlo Park Library foyer.

The commissioners launched the "Meet Your Library Commission" outreach program last year as a way to get feedback from the public and provide information about library services.

The library is located at 800 Alma St.
Environmental forum on green tags

How buying green tags can promote renewable energy and slow global climate change will be the subject of an Environmental Forum on Tuesday, January 10, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Acterra, 3921 East Bayshore Road in Palo Alto.

Debbie Mytels, associate director of Acterra; Tom Arnold of TerraPase; and Steve Attinger of Krystal Planet will explain how purchase of green tags supports production of clean energy.

The forum is $5 for Acterra members and $10 for others.
