Computer repairman charged with assault
(February 08, 2006) Menlo Park police arrested a computer repairman on Saturday, February 4, after he allegedly choked and knocked to the floor a 52-year-old woman who lives in the 2100 block of Santa Cruz Avenue and who had invited him into her home to repair her computer at about 4 p.m.
Krev Jednorevic, 59, of Palo Alto was charged with assault with great bodily injury and false imprisonment, said Sgt. Eric Cowans of the Menlo Park Police Department.
Police would not release the name of the victim, but described her injuries as a bloody mouth, cuts and bruises, and hemorrhaging around the eyes. She struggled free of the suspect, who then fled, police said.
Police arrested Mr. Jednorevic in his driveway. He was jailed briefly but is now out on bail, police said.
