The 10th annual Vertical Challenge helicopter show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Hiller Aviation Museum at the San Carlos Airport.
Vertical Challenge highlights the world of helicopters. It will also feature an appearance by the Go Fast Jet Pack International rocket-belt team and an appearance by the world’s largest Zeppelin airship. The Red Bull aerobatic helicopter will make a return visit to the show. Helicopter rides will be available at $50 per person.
Act I of the air show takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Act II takes place from 2 to 3 p.m. There will be military and civilian demonstrations. Military helicopters will remain on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21.
Tickets at the door are $17 for adults, and $10 for seniors and youth 5 to 17. Children 4 and younger get in for free.
