■ Window smashed and purse stolen and losses estimated at $1,750, Elena Ave. and Faxon Road, Aug. 4.

Grand theft reports:
■ Laptop computer values at $2,500, reading glasses, and loose change stolen from unlocked vehicle, 2000 block of Sharon Road, Aug. 7.
■ Laptop computer, GPS device and tools stolen from unlocked vehicle, 200 block of Princeton Road, Aug. 7.
Spousal abuse report: 1300 block of Henderson Ave., Aug. 8.
Residential burglary reports: Flat-screen TV and five rings stolen, with total value of $8,500, 1300 block of Henderson Ave., Aug. 8.

Auto burglary reports:

■ Vehicle broken into and iPod and cassette converter stolen, 1000 block of Merrill St., Aug. 18.
■ GPS stolen, 2800 block of Sand Hill Road, Aug. 19.
Robbery reports:
■ Apple iPhone, jersey and $36 in cash stolen from 17-year-old Menlo Park resident, Ivy Drive and Sevier Ave., Aug. 10.
■ In June, two youths hit 54-year-old Menlo Park man on arm with two-by-four plank and an face with “large rock,” then fled and are still at large, 1200 block of Hollyburne Ave, Aug. 12.
Child protective Services report: 1300 block of Henderson Ave., Aug. 12.
Fraud reports:
■ Someone used victim’s checking account to pay $210 in bills, police station at 701 Laurel St., Aug. 11.
■ Unauthorized use of credit card and loss of $35,000, reported at main police station at 701 Laurel St., Aug. 14.
■ Bank fraud with loss of $28,000, 1000 block of Marsh Road, Aug. 19.
WOODSIDE
Auto burglary report: Vehicle broken into and after unsuccessful effort to steal stereo system, thief broke into trunk and stole backpack, purse, Fuji 550E digital camera, Sony binoculars, house and vehicle keys, cell phone, checks, $40 and credit cards for loss valued at $740, Skyline Boulevard and Kings Mountain Road,
PORTOLA VALLEY
Auto burglary report: Window smashed and Coach purse containing three credit cards and driver’s license stolen, with total value of $540, 100 block of Willowbrook Drive, Aug. 9.
Residential burglary report: Stolen lockbox contained Social Security cards, military discharge card, two birth certificates, two expired U.S. passports, a vehicle title and estimates of value for jewelry, 500 block of Portola Road, Aug. 13.
WEST MENLO PARK
Theft report: Ring valued at $26,700 stolen over weekend in which property cleaned and shown to potential buyer, 1300 block of Sherman Ave., Aug. 10.
