Tuesday: 'Innovation Gap' author to speak

Businesswoman Judy Estrin will speak on innovation at a meeting of the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church meeting room behind Ace Hardware, off Chestnut Street. It is free and open to the public.

The meeting will also serve as an annual "state of the chamber" reckoning, and a chance to meet the chamber's new board members.

Ms. Estrin is the author of the book "Closing the Innovation Gap," sits on the boards of Disney and FedEx, and advises Stanford's School of Engineering, according to the chamber.
