Tonight: Sally Stewart to be honored

The public is invited to a two-hour celebration for Sally Stewart, a 26-year member of the governing board of the Sequoia Union High School District, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 2, at the San Mateo County History Museum at 2200 Broadway in Redwood City.

Ms. Stewart retired from the Sequoia board in December 2009. This event will include hors d'oeuvres, entertainment and a "tribute video," the district said.

Sally also served for years on the Portola Valley School Board, taking her full service to this community to just shy of 40 years! Truly a woman to be honored by all!
