Downed telephone pole closes Highway 84

 

A downed telephone pole is causing the closure of Highway 84 in Woodside between Portola Road and Highway 35, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is reporting. It closed around noon today, Feb. 5, and is expected to reopen by 6 p.m.

The road will be closed for an unknown amount of time. The California Highway Patrol, Caltrans, PG&E and AT&T are all responding to the scene, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Office said.
