Steve Cortez celebrates his 102nd birthday with family, friends and the staff at Rosener House in Menlo Park on Feb. 1. Mr. Cortez, who attends Rosener House's adult day programs run by the Peninsula Volunteers, is a Filipino veteran and avid fan of arm-wrestling and boxing.
