Daniel Berman Silverman, 25, of Sunnyvale was scheduled for arraignment at 9 a.m. this morning, Feb. 16., on misdemeanor charges of prowling, trespassing and resisting arrest after sheriff’s deputies discovered him on the property of the Woodside Priory school in Portola Valley during the early morning hours of Jan. 15, according to a report from the District Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Silverman is out on bail of $7,500, said Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said in the report.

Deputies had been alerted to the presence of a prowler near the women’s dormitory a few days before and had set up a stake-out. He was spotted shortly after 1:30 a.m., Mr. Wagstaffe said.

When ordered to stop, Mr. Silverman fled but was later found and apprehended in a car on a nearby street, the report said.
