Small plane crashes into East Palo Alto homes

A small plane has crashed in East Palo Alto, a resident said this morning.

Art Jonas, who lives at 1271 Beech St., said part of the plane landed on a day care center and other parts hit two homes.

"It hit some power lines next to my house," he said at about 8:20 a.m.

He was evacuating his house and couldn't talk further.

"It's pretty dismal," he said.
