Tuesday: Women's heart health breakfast event

The American Heart Association, Sequoia Hospital, and Mills Peninsula Medical Center are sponsoring a women's heart health breakfast featuring a panel of medical experts at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Marriott San Mateo, 1770 South Amphlett Blvd. in San Mateo.

The purpose of the breakfast is to raise awareness that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women age 20 and over. The panel will include four cardiologists and one obstetrician-gynecologist from Sequoia Hospital and Mills Peninsula Medical Center.

Cost of the breakfast is $25. For ticket information, call Jennifer Truax at 510-904-4029.
