Man robs Wachovia Bank on Woodside Road

 

A gray-haired man believed to be in his 50s robbed a Wachovia Bank in Redwood City on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The man entered the bank at 1500 Woodside Road at about 2:20 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money, police said.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he ran from the bank, according to police. No weapons were seen.

The man is described as white and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
