Sunday: Book sale at Menlo Park Library

The Friends of the Menlo Park Library will hold a book sale from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 21, in the library's downstairs meeting room at 800 Alma St. in Menlo Park.

The sale will feature literature, cookbooks, fiction and mystery, biography and history, gardening and home improvement, children's picture and chapter books, and more. Titled "summer sale," the event will have books for summer reading and books priced to be read and left at destinations.

All funds raised will be used to support Menlo Park Library programs and events, the sponsors say.
